Sterilisation & clinic hygiene: how we protect you at every visit
Your safety starts before the doctor even touches you. Here we explain clearly what we do between one patient and the next.
💬 One of our patients' most common questions
Instrument sterilisation
- Cleaning: instruments are washed and residue is removed in an ultrasonic cleaner.
- Packaging: each instrument set is sealed in a sterilisation pouch.
- Autoclave sterilisation: pressurised high-temperature steam kills all bacteria, viruses and spores.
- Opened in front of you: the sealed pouch is opened at the start of your treatment.
Single-use items
Needles, gloves, masks, rinsing cups, suction tips and chair covers are all used for one patient only and then discarded.
Surfaces, water and air
- The chair, surfaces and everything touched are disinfected between patients with approved products.
- The dental unit water lines are disinfected and cleaned regularly.
- Good ventilation and air filtration in the treatment rooms.
Our team
- Hand washing and disinfection before and after every patient.
- Personal protective equipment: gloves, mask, glasses or face shield.
- Regular training in infection-control protocols.
What can you ask as a patient?
You have every right to ask: “Are the instruments autoclaved?” and “Will you open the pouch in front of me?”. Any responsible clinic welcomes these questions.
